A Seasonal Edition · Joined by the Honeybee

A closer look at the honeybee.

FORAGE began with a curiosity about the small workers living among the coffee trees. It took us into the world of the honeybee, and closer to the people who care for them.

Two Places, Joined by the Honeybee

From Nogales in Colombia to Roe Valley here at home, we found beekeeping connecting two very different landscapes.

Coffee cherries being picked at Finca Nogales.

Among the coffee trees

At Nogales in Colombia, beehives offered another way into the story of the farm. Our exploration began with the coffee and drew us towards life beyond the cup.

Closer to home

In Roe Valley, we spent time with local beekeepers, looking into the hives and listening to the people who work with them.

The people who care for them.

Time at the hives, conversations with beekeepers, and a closer look at their work. Follow the encounters that helped bring FORAGE together.

A taste of both places.

A coffee from Nogales and honey from Roe Valley bring these encounters into the box. Two things to taste, with a connection to explore.
